Events & Programs

The Society holds Board of Director Meetings on the 1st Wednesday of each month. There will be no meetings July, August or December this year.

Friday, April 4 at 7:00PM at Killingly High School located on Westfield Ave. Chirs Rothe will be portraying Mary Dixon Kies.  The first woman in the US to receive a patent.

Thursday, May 1st at 1:00PM at Quinebaug Valley Community College located on Maple St. the state historian will be doing a program on oral history and the history of the region.  There will be a question and answer segment. After the program light refreshments will be served in the atrium.

Saturday May 10.  The meeting will be at 1:00PM and the program will start at 1:30PM.  Katie Hill who is a storyteller will be doing the life of as Irish woman from the late 1890's to the early 1900's.

The meetings are held at the Killingly Historical and Genealogical Society, Inc., 196 Main Street, Danielson, CT.
